Hello,

I have a KVM hypervisor running Windows Server 2019 virtual machines which I plan on migrating to Azure. Is this scenario officially supported with Azure Migrate or Azure Site Recovery? As per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-support-matrix-physical-migration, this is supported but for physical servers. Is the same scenario applicable to KVM virtual machines?

@Stefanos Evangelou - Thank you for reaching out!

Yes, you need to treat KVM VMs as physical machines to migrate them to Azure.

    Yes, this is applicable.

You can migrate KVM virtual machines, using agent-based replication.
