Hi,
I sorted out this as firewall was blocking auto discover from CAS to Mailboxes
Test-outlookwebservices and test-outlookconnectivity gave me this insight.
Allowing port 443 worked.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.

I would suggest you use Outlook "Test Email AutoConfiguration" function to test the Exchange Autodiscover, because the Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer isn't stable recently. In order to verify the external connection, you need to use a computer outside the domain to verify the autodiscover.
The Log label will show you the Autodiscover lookup process.
By the way, I think the CNAME isn't needed, It increases the number of hops for DNS resolution.
