Intune UPN

Regarding UPN. Currently in our organization we use xyz as the login for all our devices and our emails are different from them. So while moving to Intune do we need to change the UPN ?

    If the UPN you currently use correspond to a domain that you have registered/verified with Azure AD, there is no need to change it. Although if you are using Exchange Online and other services, the best practice is to have the UPN match the primary SMTP address or any other app-specific identifiers.

    You should always try to get to UPN = EMAIL = SIP when moving to M365 cloud services. This will remove the friction from users not understanding when to use what.

    By "EMAIL", do you mean the email domain or the full email ID? If it's full email id, whose email id to pass into the following call made form iOS code:

    IntuneMAMEnrollmentManager.instance().registerAndEnrollAccount(<UPN required here>)

    If I understand correctly the UPN change can cause other issues as well..
