The Hybrid Worker Groups page used to show "last seen" time without having to click into each group and view the server(s). Why on Earth would that be removed?

    Hi @skatterbrainz ,

I appreciate your patience. I heard back from the engineering team and they confirmed the removal of the "last seen time " property in the Hybrid Worker Groups UI.

This is due to the recently announced Automation hybrid extension support for Azure VMs and Arc-enabled servers.
As part of this change , the last seen time is no longer available as part of list all hybrid worker group API response, and that is why you can't see the same on the grid view. Previously, they were fetching information about group and worker both which led to latency issues including the timeouts happening at the ARM level. To avoid this performance impact , they decided to remove the "last seen time" in the new experience.

The engineering team appreciates your feedback, hence they are evaluating the feasibility of displaying "last seen time" for the hybrid worker group in the overview page once a user selects a group , which would still be a different experience than what was there earlier but you won’t have to check the "last seen time" of all the workers individually and figure out the group "last seen time".

There is no shareable ETA at the moment but a note will be added to the hybrid worker documentation once this rollout is completed.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have further questions

    Thanks,
    Grace
