Respect,
I have a question about the new update to the Windows 11 version. Namely, I noticed that I received an update to a newer version of Windows 11 and that my laptop has all the specifications for the update except for the processor that is the Intel Core i5-7200u CPU @ 2.50GHz. Because of that I wonder if I will ever be able to install a new Windows on my version of the processor or I will have to stay on the current version of Windows 10.
In the hope of answering this question, I warmly greet you,
Ena Divović

    Hi there,

Only 8th generation processors are supported for Windows 11. This is been specified by the PC manufacturers for improved security and performance. It seems 7200U is not on the list. So for this condition, you will get a Windows 10 21H2 update which has similar features to Windows 11 so that you can update your PC and stay in Windows 10.

The PC Health Check App tells you whether you can upgrade to Windows 11 or not. Run the app to determine if your machine meets the requirements. If it doesn't then Windows 11 isn't supported on your machine. If Win11 isn't supported you will need to remain on Win10 or purchase a new machine.
