Windows 11 Task Bar items that cannot be accessed by clicking their icon on the TaskBar

I have come across at least 2 applications that when on the Windows 11 (10.0.22000.194) Task Bar cannot be accessed by clicking their icon on the TaskBar.

  • VMWare Worstation - 15.5.7 build-17171714
  • 3CX - v16.3.0.198

ALT+TAB is the only way to switch to this open applications.

Anyone else seeing this in any other applications and if os please ad them to the list

    I don't believe this is the correct place to build a list of apps you're having problems with. Report the problem to the Windows team directly using the feedback tool so they can look into it. If you want to share a link to the feedback item here then go ahead but the Windows team isn't going to come to the Q&A forums to get bug reports when it is already built into the OS.
