I have the same problem. did someone got an answer on this or solved it?
I must say that the entire HLK tests for WFP driver seems buggy to me.
For example, there is a test that should test the "connect redirect", but the sample answer file that come with the WFPSampler doesn't have a configuration line for this layer at all and the test pass.
since no configuration was made to call the tested driver in this layer, the test is not testing this feature.
HLK Windows 10 AppContainers_Tests fails with error can't find startappcontainer.exe
I am running Hardware Lab kit tests on our network filter driver and the AppContainers_Tests fails on Pre-Configuration steps with the below error:
[FAIL] The machine is not properly configured for testing: Could not find required binary: C:\Program Files\Windows Kits\10\Hardware Lab Kit\Client\startappcontainer.exe
Test Specification: Filter.Driver.WindowsFilteringPlatform.ArchitecturalDesign-AppContainers-SupportModernApplications
The HLK client has OS Platform: Windows v10.0 x64 19041 Pro.
I have come across this similar thread on msdn forum: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/210048e2-be1b-4dc8-825e-050f5e29b439/cant-find-startappcontainerexe?forum=whck
However, this does not answer where to find the startappcontainer.exe
Additionally, the test Filter.Driver.WindowsFilteringPlatform.ArchitecturalDesign-AppContainers-SupportModernApplications from WindowsFilteringPlatforms_Tests is also failing
This test appears to be related to the AppContaines_Tests specified earlier.
Please help in resolving this issue. Appreciate it.
Thanks,
Tanmayee
