How do I show "Finished installing" notification after silently installing apps with InPlaceHostingManager

I have used InPlaceHostingManager to install one or several apps silently on the client-side.
And now I want them to know when it finishes installing so they can start using it. I don't plan on using any progress bar or anything, just needed to install any number of installations as one batch (with one click).
I just need to notify the user when the installation process ends even if my own app that started the installation is closed before it finishes.

InPlaceHostingManager has this line:
iphm.DownloadApplicationCompleted += new EventHandler<DownloadApplicationCompletedEventArgs>(iphm_DownloadApplicationCompleted); and shows a messagebox like so

should I run a service? or call something after my program closes. Someone told me just call the event after you close your program but I think I should do it on the installation side.

How should I do this?

I should have asked how to run installations with InPlaceHostingManager that runs separately from my app so when I close my app it doesn't also close. If I can get that, I could just get that thing's(I'm thinking it most likely has to be a separate service run) "completed" event and show it.

From the example in the document InPlaceHostingManager , you may not need to run a server. You can use this class in situations where you need a complex installation that performs a number of pre-installation or post-installation operations on the local computer. As I understand it, these Settings should be in a separate boot program, where you can set up other installer prompts. If I misunderstand your question, please point out.

I was trying to separate my installation process from my app because I thought if I did that the installation process won't be dependent on my app's active state(won't stop installing even if my app is closed).

I had used to InPlaceHostingManager to install my applications because it installs all the apps chosen by the user in one click and I wanted to show its completion since some of the apps took a few minutes to finish installing.

I had thought my program was supposed to finish the installation if it was started, even if my program closed before it finished. (which was totally wrong and I have stopped trying to do).
Still, I needed to show something when the installations finished. And since they have a varying amount of installation time I chose to show a toast notification and I have just got it working just now. So my question doesn't really need to be answered anymore.

Sorry for asking stupid questions all the time. I just tend to do better if I ask someone.

Should I delete this question?
