The maximum number of shards that can be created in Redis 6.0 premium tier seems to be 10 shards (with clustering enabled) via the Azure portal. Can I increase this limit via the AZ CLI or by raising a support ticket?

What are the options available on Azure in premium tier if one hits this limit and want to scale vertically instead of creating more clusters.

Hi @Bala Vignan Madanu , thanks for your patience.

As per the product group, currently we don't support more than 10 shards by raising a support ticket either, so its limited to 10 shards as of now.

Please let us know if you need any other details and we will delighted to help you.
