Getting error when trying to upload a 20GB ISO to SharePoint either by web or sync client

Question

We are trying to upload an 20GB ISO to SharePoint either by web or sync client but it fails.

The error message is "The server is busy"

is there any SPO size limit in uploading ISO file?

20 GB is below the current limit of 100 GB for SharePoint Online (assuming you are not using on-premise SharePoint where the limits are different).

Sounds very similar to another post about very large zip files (also 1 GB to 20 GB range). See here.

If the standard web interface and OneDrive (sync client) are not robust you need to look at alternatives. MSFT proposes to use PowerAutomate (see previous link). There are also tools that have implemented chunked uploads (e.g. upload the file in chunks of say 100 MB), cater for glitches (e.g. if one of the chunks fails then only re-upload that chunk) and check the size of the uploaded file with the original file size.

There is no separate size limit for uploading ios files.

In SharePoint Online, File upload limit is 250 GB - Applies to each individual file uploaded to Microsoft Teams Files tab, SharePoint document libraries, OneDrive folders, and Yammer conversations.

If possible, please add a screenshot of the detailed error message.

In addition, please try to upload files through windows file explorer(IE or IE mode of edge) and upload it during non-working hours to compare the results.
