Hi,

Say for example I have configured domain locally with name as host.com
I want that it resolves internally but as soon as I browse with that domain, it resolves externally with actual site.
What to do so that whatever domains I configure that resolves internally only.

Windows Server 2016
Windows Server 2016
A Microsoft server operating system that supports enterprise-level management updated to data storage.

You’ll need to setup hosts file on the individual server pointing to wait he internal updates address you want.

If this is an Active Directory domains n you created with an AD integrated DNS server it should know it’s authoritative for that zone and DNS should resolve to a domain controller.

If the AD domain is not host.com you can use the host file method or add host.com zone to your DNS server and then create a host entry.

Creating a windows domain does not also create a web site. It sounds like you may have chosen a name that's already in use as a website. Not clear what the end goal is here. You can search here for something unique.

    Hi there,

An internal domain is a domain owned or controlled by your organization.

First you need your external IP address, if you want anyone else to reach your domain.
Second you need a DNS server that holds your domain record, and uses an A Host record to point to your external IP. Then you need to setup your domain to use that DNS server.
