Hi!
I'm developing an iOS app on macOS Carolina 10.15.7 with Xamarin and Visual Studio for Mac 8.10.11 (build 8)
Recently we changed the appleid, and now i can't add the new appleid to Visual Studio for Mac
When i try to add my appleid here:
after entering email, password and the 6 digit verification code from the two step authentication, i keep getting the same error message:
"Failed to synchronize <email> account withApple Developer Portal.
Your session has expired. Please log in. Your session has expired. Please log in."
And nope, it is not a typo from my part, the message says 'Your session has expired. Please log in' twice.
What am i missing?
Am i doing something wrong??

Is your verification code sent through a trusted device such as your iPhone or your Mac? You could try to send a verification code by using SMS.

Yes, it is, and i have no problem login in the apple development portal or other apple services.
Is there a way to send a verification code by trusted phone number? If you still can't login in, you could report it in Visual Studio for Mac, refer to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/mac/report-a-problem?view=vsmac-2019

I am also facing same issue, in my case after adding detail it is not going anywhere.and not showing any failure message.what could be the solution for it.
I am unable to understand the cause behind it, if you have any solution please provide me.
