Azure Purview Scan Job Fails

Good day,
I have configured the Azure Purview account and Self-Hosted Integration Runtime to scan an on-premises SQL server.
Following Microsoft documentation every time checks out up till to the point when I try to initiate / start a scan job, then the following error occurs:
I am not using any Private Endpoints as per the article that this error message points me to: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/purview/troubleshoot-connections
Your assistance here will be highly appreciated .
