Hello guys.
In our environment is already deployed exchange 2013, and we want to migrate to 2019.
So a bit nervous thing about organizationname switch in prepare ad step. Several guides said that in should be exist in command line, if old exchange already deployed. In ADSI i see, that ou CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=local is exist, so should we run that switch with same name? Is that safe?
Several migrate guides says, that if out already exist in scheme, do not run setup with that.. So what is right?
MS docs says, that this switch is not necessary and not affine to old exchange configuration at all.. So i confused, should setup.exe /prepareAD run with OrganizationName or not..

    Hi there,

No worries you will not be needing the Organization name again as you are only migrating and not deploying for the first time.

You can also use the Exchange deployment assistant https://assistants.microsoft.com/
