"Can't access the group calendar" in Sharepoint

Question

I had a communication hubsite with a group calendar webpart linking to a M365 group. And with a Forms webpart.
I unregistered the site as a hub, I switched my rootsite for the communicationsite and registered the new rootsite again as a hub.

Everything works perfectly except for the group calendar webpart and the Forms webpart.

I get the errors as shown in the image

I deleted both webparts, published the site again and created the webparts again.
When I edit the Group calendar webpart I get the error: "Couldn't get a list of groups."
When I edit the Forms webpart everything seems fine, until I hit Save and I still don't see the webpart after publishing.

The funny thing is that a visitor of the root site doesn't see the group calendar webpart, but sees the Forms webpart and is able to fill in the form successfully.

It solved itself! It seems that Sharepoint needed several hours to reset things after the root site swap.

@CaseyYang-MSFT Thank for your time, but as I wrote I had access to the calendar and the Form before the root site swap and after I lost it. So it had nothing to do with membership.

Hi @Dantuma, Lucien ,

The group calendar is created for Office 365 group’s members to share schedules. So first please confirm whether you are the member of the Office 365 groups. If no, you may let the group member add you as members and then add the group calendar on the modern site page to see the result.
