Hi!

I'm configuring an app in user context. But when I set the app as required to a group of users it never installs! Could anyone give me a hint in why its like this?
The device is compliant and with a Corporate ownership.

On the Device install status is says Not applicable as status
On the User install status it says 0 under Failures, Installs and Pending

According to this blog post it should work:

@Niklas Österholm Thanks for your update.

Generally, it means that the device is not supported to install the app. Please check if the device meets the requirements you configured in the win32 app.

At the same time, please check if there is any error message about requirements check in IntuneManagementExtension.log in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\IntuneManagementExtension\Logs.

@Niklas Österholm Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you mean that you couldn't deploy an application to the user group? If there is anything misunderstanding, please correct me.

To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:

    1. Is the device windows device? And please check its version.
    2. Please check if the device is co-management device.
    3. As RahulJindal said, could you please tell us which the app type? Store app, LOB app, win32 app or others?

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.

    1. This is a Windows 10 20H2 device that is updated
    2. The devices are not co-managed
    3. The app is a win32 app.

The problem is that the app never even trys to install, I dont get anyting from it. We have tried 2 diffrent apps, one thas just a CMD file that changes a regirsty setting and one that is an application and we have verifyed that the installation is installning. The problem it that is says Not Applicable whatever I'm trying.
