- How did you share these files? Please refer to: Share your file in Word for Mac to check.
- Do all Office files have this issue? Such as, .doc, .xlsx and .pptx files.
Per my research, I would suggest that you try to open your Mac in safe mode to check this issue:
- Turn on or restart your Mac, and then hold down the Shift key as the Mac starts immediately.
- Release the key when you see the login window, and the"Safe Boot" should appear in the upper right corner.
- Log in to your Mac.

In addition, considering that this issue occurred after upgrading to Monterey, I also suggest that you contact the relevant Apple support to troubleshoot this issue.
