How long does it take to activate an "API Management Service"?

Hi,

I have created an "API Management Service"; it has been in "Activating" status for about an hour now. Is it normal?

    It can take between 30 and 40 minutes to create and activate an API Management service.

    @Subrata Biswas If you are still observing the issue that your APIM instance is in Activating state then please share your APIM instance name only to my private comment.
    As document and learn2skills mentioned it may take between 30 to 40 minutes to create and activate your APIM instance but in a few instances, it may take a larger time if there is any issue at the backend or allocating the resource.
