Bought latest mbp 16 with M1 processor, doesn't support bootcamp so purchased Parallels Desktop 17 and signed up for MS insider to install win11 arm version.
Majority of e-banking systems in China are still U-key based thus require IE add-ons for its security features, yet, I see no solutions running e-banking on this mac.

have tried:

  1. calling for customer support in Parallels, answers MS stops supporting IE and moves on to EDGE, thus no solution.
  2. downloaded some IE installation packages for 64bit, unable to install.

    Yes, Internet Explorer is no longer available in the Windows 11 , however you may use the Microsoft Edge and then run those websites in the Internet Explorer Mode. It is recommended to move from using these extensions and use modern web standards instead , however as a workaround you may use the Internet Explorer Mode. Take a look at:

    @帝尧 王 .
    The Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022. The same IE11 apps and sites you use today can open in Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode. Did you try this mode?

    If I didn't understand your questions, can you please be little more specific in explaining the question. Thanks.

    Hi, 3rd party chipping in here. I am running Edge in IE Mode on Windows 11 ARM, but my company remote access, which relies on ActiveX, still isn't working. My question is: Is I.E. mode in Edge on Windows 11 ARM definitely capable of running ActiveX controls properly?
