I am trying to upgrade a customers SCOM enviroment where some of the components have been really lagging in versions. Right now, i am trying to lift the SCOM reporting services too 2019 from 1801. When irun the prereq checks it saids that:

The management server to which this component reports has not been upgraded.

I read an article where this issue is resolved by installing a SCOM 1801, 1807 or 2016 console so that it gets connected with the management servers but the problem still persists. I have checked that the console is able to reach the management servers and i have tried restarting the server where the reporting services role is installed.

Edit:

Might be good to mention also that the Report role is on the same server as the Operations SQL DB.

The version on the SQL is 13.0.4451.0.

The agent on the server is multihomed to their testenviroment aswell.

    Hi,
can you please check the log file, there should be a detailed error message there, exactly like mentioned here:

The Management server to which this component reports has not been upgraded - SCOM 2016

Would you please post the details here, so that we can check on them?

    Thnaks and Regards,
