We would like to provide the installation version and the installation free version;
MySQL only needs to read the configuration file to run without complex registry key.

    Hi kimwu-5170,

    You can use “SELECT @@VERSION” command in SSMS to return system and build information for the current installation of SQL Server.

    In addition, as Vaibhav mentioned, you can submit this thought to the Microsoft feedback at this link https://feedback.azure.com/forums/908035-sql-server.
