Triggering Function App behind private endpoint from ADF pipeline

Question

I am trying to trigger private Durable Task Function App from ADF pipeline.
My function app has private endpoints setting turned on for inbound traffic under Networking settings, so that it will only allow triggering from within our vnet.

I was able to access all my other private resources from ADF using managed VNet's private endpoint, but I can't seem to find a way to add private endpoint for Functions.
Looking at documentation for managed vnet, it doesn't seem to support Function Apps?

So what is the correct way to trigger private function app from ADF? Or does it only allow publicly exposed Functions? If so, any workaround?

Just heared back from the product team and this scenario is not currently not supported at this time .
I suggest you to please go ahead and log the ask here .

Product group does monitor the request and they can plan for the implementation in future .Once you log the feature request you will also be notified on the status of the request .
