SMB 1.0/CIFS dependency on office online server

Hi all ,

I wanted to check is there any dependency on office online on prem server on "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" feature. Can we disable it if it not disturbing any feature of Office Online.

As per my research it won't stop any feature from office online, still I need some clarity before doing any changes.

If there is dependency then can anyone please share reference article, I tried to find but not luck.

My current version is 16.0.10338.20039 OOS and windows server 2016.

    Hi @AlexRobert ,

    Disabling SMBv1 should have no impact on your Office Online.
