Hi I have recently set up a Group policy to silently sync end users known folders to one drive.

Is it possible to Sync these folders from group policy instead of moving them any documentation i have looked up on it is pretty much telling me the same settings
and these setting move folders instead of syncing?

    Hi @jp connor ,
    Welcome to Q&A forum!

Please note that the original intention of "Redirect and move Windows known folders to OneDrive" is to sync local folders/files to OneDrive. The following information comes from this official article: Redirect and move Windows known folders to OneDrive.

There are two primary advantages of moving or redirecting Windows known folders (Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Screenshots, and Camera Roll) to Microsoft OneDrive for the users in your domain:

    • Your users can continue using the folders they're familiar with. They don't have to change their daily work habits to save files to OneDrive.
    • Saving files to OneDrive backs up your users' data in the cloud and gives them access to their files from any device.

Hope the information is helpful to you.
