Hi

I have installed development tools like eclipse, python .. on my VM and created image , This image serves as standard version, with this image I plan created Azure windows desktops in multiple subscription/region. For any operational requirement we will update the standard version and this incremental change has to be cascaded to other Azure virtual desktops, I would like to know is their a way to prepare the patch of VM image or any ARM template that can identify the incremental change in the current VDI and help us to deploy in other VM

Thanks
Ramabadran

    @RAMABADRAN SAMPATHKUMAR

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

    You can update the image and the re-deploy the VMs.
    To preserve the user profile and user data, you can use FSLOGIX and OneDrive.

    Please refer this document for more information: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/fslogix-containers-azure-files

    Hope this helps.
