Access restriction on synaspse workspace ?

Question

HI , we already have one synapse workspace with spark pool and some pipelines related to some project, now we need synapse for new project project, can we use existing one ?
but how restrict access on resources as diffrent teams will be working on two projects ?
yeah we can restrict on serverless and dedicated pools , but how to restrict access for existing notebooks (spark pools are diffrent ) and for pipelines ?

will there be any cost diffrence , if we create new synapse ?

Unfortunately, you cannot restrict access for existing notebooks (spark pools are different) and for pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics.

I would suggest you to provide feedback on the same:

All of the feedback you share in these forums will be monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft engineering teams responsible for building Azure.

You need to create a new Azure Synapse workspace and there will not be any cost difference.
