SCCM client installaton fails Error: 0x80200024

Hello All,

The error which you see below is i see in windows 10 client machines or windows servers when ever i try to install client manually or through GP or from Configuration manager .
I have recently installed CM 2109 in my environment .\My issue is that the client is not getting installed on machines ,be it wIn 10 clients or Windows servers.

****Download Update: A recoverable error has occurred. A retry attempt will be made. Error: 0x80200024, Description The job is not making progress. The server may be misconfigured. Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) will try again later.
, Context: The error occurred while the local file was being processed. Verify that the file is not in use, and retry.****

Firewall rules are in place as suggested by microsoft.BITS policy rule are in place what is recommended.Tried everything but no success.
Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi @m ashfaq

    It seems the issue is caused by some firewalls were blocking downloads. We could review the traffic logs using Wireshark to try and get a better idea of what was happening at the network level, and solve this issue with the network colleague.

    Here is the similar post, the original issue was caused by the company firewall, it had some antivirus or packet inspection enabled. Disabling all packet inspection/AV could be solved the issue.

    Is it for all the machines or some? Do you have any security solutions in place? AV, FW etc?

    all machines with facing issue or some machines please check it check the AV
