Sql server licence

Question

hi i purchased sql server
from microsoft volume licencing service center
it shows up there but i cant seem to find the licence key to apply to sql server i have the licensing ID is there a guide somewhere on what to do

The SQL server license key is embedded in the installation package, when you purchase SQL server license from Microsoft volume license service center. You can see the license key on license key page during the installation.

(Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist. Or you can go to Volume Licensing Service Center support. Please choose region/language and choose to call or have web. From VLSC you a "personalized" installer as download with integrated product key (pre-pidded), you see it when you start the installer and follow the installation wizard; you don't need a separate key.
