Blend For Visual Studio 2022

Question

Hello,
I install a latest version of VS 2022.

I have this problem with the 'visual studio xml editor package' package did not load correctly'.

153851-activitylog.xml

This file contain the logs from ActivityLogs.
Whats is the solutions? I tried to reinstall & repair VS but it changing nothing.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Though I noticed that you have tried to repair VS, normally, repairing VS should work.

I suggest you try to clean some cache files and repair some corrupted files.

Clean cache and restart VS:

1. Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\17.0_XXXXX and C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Blend\17.0_XXXXX, delete/rename ComponentModelCache folder in every 17.0_XXXX folders.

Repair files:

1. Use SFC tool to scan and repair missing or corrupted system files.
2. Try to update Windows OS.

Besides, please try to run VS/Blend as administrator and see if this works, if it works perhaps it’s related to permission. And if you installed some extensions in VS/Blend, try to disable them in Extensions > Manage Extensions > Installed, and restart VS/Blend.

I get the same error. I submitted a bug report on visual studio feed back. I suggest you do the same
