Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.
I tried quickly at my end but was not able repro the issue.
Can you please share Code snippet of the your copy activity.
Also, when you insert the values directly at the SQL end - is the issue reproducible? or is the issue reproducible if you have alternate sink ?

I was able to resolve the issue. The ODBC sink connector was somehow causing this issue. Instead I switched to a conventional 'SQL Server' connector as a sink and the issue with decimals got resolved.
