Hi guys, iv hit a brick wall here, never posted on here before.

Iv inherited a half build SCCM, the person who installed didn't write any documentation. Looks like it did its initial discovery as 5 servers have had config mgr installed but now they show up as black crosses.

Win 2019 - SCCM build 9049.

We are an isolated system. Enabled is
AD Forest
AD System - Selected my DC
Heartbeat

Distribution point set up - HTTPS - Allow intranet connections only.
Site set up - HTTPS
AD Forests - Discovery & Publishing is saying succeeded.

Event Viewer
Getting error for SMS_MP_Control_manager on HTTP event 5409
Getting plenty of event id 4909. SMS_Site_componant_manager. About the site machine account might not have correct rights to update AD - Give service account rights

Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2019

    Hello,

Regarding the SMS_Site_componant_manager event ID4909. If you go to Administration | Hierarchy Configuration | Active Directory Forests, you see the correct forest right? And if you check the properties of that forest, are you publishing with a specific account or with the default machines account? If you are publishing with a specific account, you need to give that account rights to the System Management container.

Also disable any antivirus you have running on all of your site servers, then restart the SMS Site Component Manager service on your primary site server.

Hope this helps with your query!
