Does Anything really need Microsoft SQL 2005 Backward compatibility anymore?

As long as you are using a current version of SQL that is still supported, can I uninstall SQL server 2005 backward compatibility? Same thing for SQL server 21008 Management Objects. How can I tell if it is still be using by anything?

    What else do you have on that machine? I'm looking at a machine on which I have SQL 2016 and SQL 2019 and it does not have SQL 2005 Backwards Compatibility.

    I would be hesitant to uninstall it. Not fun if something breaks and you don't know how to get it back. And it is not taking up a lot of disk space, does it?

    Here is the relevant informance about Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward compatibility

    SQL Server 2005 Backward compatibility file is no longer available from official website. And SQL Server 2005 is no longer supported by Microsoft and no updates are published.
    You can check to see if any relevant 2005 services are running before making plans

    We like to remove all software that is no longer supported to prevent un-remediated vulnerabilities. How can I tell if something is using the 2005 backwards compactivity? Same for the Management Objects.
