Unknown error when istalling SQL Server 2019 Express or Developer

I get an unkown error message when I try to install SQL Server 2019 Express or Developer.
I have removed all previous versions, also in the filesystem and registry and I run the installation file as administrator.

    From your description, did you meant that you got the error message when you click SQL server setup file? If I misunderstood, please let me know.

    Please check if any anti-malware software on your server prevent your SQL server installation?

    Please share us your SQL server setup log for analysis as pituach mentioned. For SQL server 2019, the setup log is located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\150\Setup Bootstrap\Log by default.

    You can use process monitor to capture the SQL server installation process, then you can find which step that failed and find the failed reason.
