Azure active directory AADSTS90092: Non-retryable error has occurred.

While trying set up Azure active directory app registration for one of our internal API application, and while executing some sample authnetication codem we are getting error "Azure active directory AADSTS90092: Non-retryable error has occurred.".

which verifyin the error in azure known error codes list, it translate to "

AADSTS90092 GraphNonRetryableError
"

Does any one have to how to resolve this sort of error any known article or resolution?

I am getting the same thing while trying to attach an api application. Its also a new user and new app being added. I hope Microsoft and/or our software vendors can get this worked out.

I'm facing this error now with a new external guest user that I created, while previously created or internal users work.
Is this still a bug or a configuration issue? The message certainly does not help.

I am facing the same issue with new Users, encountering it now. Was watching this thread for a while to see some updates and based on your update, retried, but still facing same issue

Hi Nirav,

I dug through some support logs and everything I've found indicates that there is a bug in the portal right now around this. The product has already pushed a fix and it should be deployed within three weeks. I'll be checking in with them on this and update the thread when there is more news.

Hi Marilee,

I am also seeing the same error message when some of the users are trying to authenticate to the system. It looks like this is happening for the new users not to the existing users.

When I tried to navigate to the azure portal and tried to click "Grant admin consent for " I am seeing the same error message.

After having created a new application (our first custom application connected with Azure AD), I'm seeing the same error message, but with another error code, is this the same issue though?

We have the same issue when trying to get a PRT token (using Windows Configuration Designer) or Powershell AADInternals

The endpoint seems to be [https://login.microsoftonline.com/webapp/bulkaadjtoken/poll?flowToken=$($response.flowToken](https://login.microsoftonline.com/webapp/bulkaadjtoken/poll?flowToken=$($response.flowToken)

(taken from https://github.com/Gerenios/AADInternals/blob/master/PRT.ps1 line 1836)

Can we do something on our side or it's Microsoft related ?

@Ali @Anthony Martinet Not sure if this will work for you but after some troubleshooting we discovered that it could be due to the Enterprise app permissions.

We removed it from https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/StartboardApplicationsMenuBlade/~/AppAppsPreview

Then created the provisioning package again forcing it to prompt for the permissions access for WCD in the tenant.

Also because we only had Business Standard for this tenant we also enable the P2 trial and ensured MDM enrollment was turned on.

All my users avec Business Premium so I should be OK.
