Hi,

We are curenly using a WSUS which runs on a Windows Server 2012R2. Since there are a performance issues on that server, we've decided to deploy a new WSUS server (Windows Server 2019). We are using an option "Use Group Policy or registry settings on computers".
I would like to know if I could use existing GPOs and just change server path ("Specify intranet MS update service location) to point to a new WSUS server?

Thank you in advance for your answer!

    Hi,

Yes, you can simply change Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to point everything update to the new WSUS 2019 server, it'll take up to a few hours to re-download all the updates on the new WSUS 2019 server.

(If the reply was helpful please don't forget to accept as answer, thank you)

    Best regards,
    Leon
