Company Should NOT be allowed mange/control my person smart phone just becuase I want to get office emails.

How to use smart phone to send & receive emails using company email account BUT WITHOUT making the company manages my mobile phone. I DO NOT want to create Work Profile as this seems to give full control of my phone to the company.

Every time I try to add my company's email address in my smart phone it gives me the one and only one option of creating a Work Profile which makes the company manages my smart phone, which is not acceptable to me.

Phone is Note 10 Samsung, email is google based server account.

    The horrible thing Im facing now is when I removed my office email account from my personal smart phone and removed the Work Profile, I lose all of my contacts!!! When I install it back I get some of my contacts back (not all!). It is so strange! Its a private phone and these contacts are person, friends and some are work related. Why do I lost my contacts if I remove the Work Profile?

    Isnt there away to allow smart phone users to view office related emails without getting controlled by the company?
