    Did you install OOS in the exchange server?

    Please note:

    "Don't install any other server applications on the server that's running Office Online Server. This includes Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, Skype for Business Server, and SQL Server. If you have a shortage of servers, consider running Office Online Server in a virtual machine on one of the servers you have"

    Our Team uses SharePoint Online and we are receiving the same error.

    Is there a place to run the provided code: Restart-WebAppPool MsExchangeOwaAppPool for SharePoint Online?

    We are using DDOS protection by using Cloudflare which was the issue and we are getting the error to preview Word, Excel from External Network.

    We have resolved this issue by installing an appropriate Public SSL wildcard certificate which root CA is the same in Cloudflare & Office Online Server.
