Is having a static IP address on my home internet necessary for a good Azure lab?

Hello,

I am getting ready to build a new lab environment which will integrate a bunch of Azure services as I study for a test. I'm paying Verizon $300 per month for a block of static IP's, I know there are dynamic DNS services I could use I've used them in the past for other things. I wanted to find out from people more knowledgeable/experienced than me, is it really necessary to have a static IP if I want to accomplish the following:

  1. I want to build a realistic home lab environment using Azure that could mimic a small corporate office setup
  2. I want to be able to do everything in my Azure lab that I would do at work or be asked to do at work

I know I could study with the great labs that are available for Azure and get by with that but I learn best if I can break things, build them myself and understand why they were built a certain way. I appreciate any tips, advice you can give!

Shouldn't make any difference really unless you are going to host on premise services that would interact with some cloud services.
