Hi All

i am new to configuration manager, i have a collection A and collection B. Collection A servers are going to be patched on Wednesday and Collection B servers are going to be patched on Thursday. Server01 is in Collection A how do i move it to Collection B so that it will patched on Thursday. if i double click Collection A i can see my server do i need to remove from collection. After removing how do i add it to collection B. i want to make sure i am not making mistake.

    Hi,

    If you see the "Remove from collection" option is not grayed out, it indicates that the client is added by direct rule, so we can remove it from collection.
    Then add it to collection B use direct rule, right click collection B and select Membership Rules tab, click Add Rule > Direct Rule > next > type a "%" for value and click next > choose Server01 and next > close rule wizard and apply it.
