azure data factory sftp connector Error, Failed to negotiate key exchange algorithm

hi, I used azure blob storage to setup SFTP, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/ask.html

and then use ADF SFTP connector to connect to it. I am using basic user/pwd to setup SFTP and the same way to create the SFTP connector in ADF. then I received this error, Failed to negotiate key exchange algorithm

I didn't see any option in ADF to switch the exchange algorithm, so any help/better practice suggestion will be appreciated.

Thank you for posting query in Microsoft Q&A Platform.

I got update from internal team.

SFTP in Blob Storage does not support an algorithm that ADF can communicate (diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256, diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1, diffie-hellman-group14-sha1, diffie-hellman-group1-sha1).

Hence you are seeing that error message while trying to connect from ADF to SFTP on blob.

I encourage you to log this feedback item as future suggestion item at below URL and up-vote same. Product team closely monitor all feedbacks and consider them for future releases.
