Hi, I am developing a desktop app for windows using electron js, and I want to create a folder that should stay underneath the quick access folder in the file explorer as the Onedrive does, I have searched about it but couldn't find how it was done. Kindly help me out how to programmatically add the Folder to file explorer after the installation
Later, In another question, somebody answered it is related to the Shell Extensions especially the shell folder. And I am not sure How to create a shell folder, if anyone knows kindly suggest me a way to create a one like Onedrive or Dropbox

Thanks for the answer and it helped me to understand what I am trying to do,
And I have read this documentation Build a Cloud Sync Engine that Supports Placeholder Files
and tried building and running the app locally, as they have mentioned in this repo, Cloud Mirror git repo
To build this sample, open the solution (.sln) file titled CloudMirror.sln from Visual Studio Professional 2017, Select CloudMirrorPackage as the startup project. go to Build > Build Solution from the top menu after the sample has loaded.
But I am facing an error while trying to build itself I have not changed anything, just the same repo and I have followed the mentioned procedure.
and I am getting this error,
Error MSB4044 The "GenerateDesktopBridgeAppxManifest" task was not given a value for the required parameter "EntryPointExe". CloudMirrorPackage C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Community\MSBuild\Microsoft\DesktopBridge\Microsoft.DesktopBridge.targets 199
Is there any solution for this issue, any suggestions would be helpful

You can find some threads about this error on Google by typing
" MSB4044 The "GenerateDesktopBridgeAppxManifest""
but I cannot reproduce on my configuration (VS 2022, Windows 10 21H1, SDK 10.0.18362.0 and it compiles fine :

1>Done building project "CloudMirror.vcxproj".

It works fine when I just try to build and run the CloudMirror
