Windows 10, worked fine 3 days ago. My son was running a program with his mates to cheat in a game called a "Hardware ID spoofing tool"...
It has pretty much removed all of my shortcuts and program settings.
Most importantly, it has removed my windows activation key, claiming "new hardware installed" and i need to re-enter the key.
I built this PC 7 years ago, I don't have the USB stick anymore. Is there any method to recover that now missing product key? I don't fancy buying a new one, when I already own it. I still have the Receipt from purchase in June 2016, if this is of any assistance at all?

Hello,
where did you purchase the key from?
Was the key sent to you or was in a packaged product?
was the key preinstalled in the machine and did the machine ship with Windows 10?
Thanks
