Is there any word on when the Teams app will be rolled into the list of apps that have conditional access controls for Intune? Here is the current list: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/concept-conditional-access-grant#require-app-protection-policy

I have a customer wondering when Teams will be added into the list of apps in the above link.

I totally understand your frustration in dealing with this issue. But please understand currently we haven’t received any information that support Microsoft Teams mobile app for use with 'require app protection policy' access control in Conditional Access policies. Some end users have already post such request in Intune UserVoice, I think you can vote the following ticket to address this issue. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customer feedback. We strive to capture any negative reviews in order to ensure that we are continuously improving our products to meet our customers' needs. With your efforts, we are committed to improving our products. Here is the link:

By the way, if there is still no response from UserVoice, it is also recommended to create an online support ticket to address this issue more effectively. Here is the link:

A little bit of a background, the team developping the Microsoft Teams app needs to integrate the new Intune SDK so that the Require App Protection Policy feature is supported.

For now use the Require App Protection Policy and Require Approved Client App grant controls with Require one of the selected controls selected.

More information about the Require App Protection Policy is shared in a great session of Ross Smith IV: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/video-hub/intune-app-protection-policies-with-policy-assurance/m-p/1688886

Curious to know how things are developing here. Seems as though this has been on the 'to-do' list for quite a while.
