Is it possible to have an exclusion defined for a specific policy in an initiative. WE can do the exclusion for a complete initiative but can specify exclusion for a particular policy defined in the initiative

    Hi @FeaturedWisdom ,

AFAIK the initiative only has one assignment, the exclusion is set on the assignment, therefore it will apply for all policies the initiative contains so currently it is not possible to have an exclusion defined for a specific policy in an initiative.

@FeaturedWisdom yes we have the ability to exclude/exempt a resource or resource hierarchy from specified policies contained in an initiative by defining a policy exemption in JSON.

The policy exemption JSON contains elements for:

    • display name
    • description
    • metadata
    • policy assignment
    • policy definitions within an initiative
    • exemption category
    • expiration
