New subscriptions do not appear in my subscriptions list

I have an azure account where i have only one AAD tenant.

I have a few existing subscriptions. one that is active two that are disabled.

Over the last 2 hours I have created two additional new subscriptions.

This process seems to work fine and i get the green tick notification with the subscription ID shortly after creating a new subscription. ( i saved a screen shot of the last time this happened).

The problem is that after this, the new subscription does not appear in my subscriptions list and i cannot find it anywhere.

does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Ah, I found it.

Under (the cog icon) settings menu > Directories + Subscriptions.

There is a really confusing filter for your subscriptions. (I'm confused as to why new subscriptions are not added to this with an enabled status automatically).

and you need to manually add the subscriptions that you just created because it defaults to off, which is terrible UX, because if you don't know this filter exists then you end up in a bit of a bind.
