I have scenario in which users need to mount the azure fileshare to their machine which is not domain joined but there is a line of sight to AD. Also when I try mounting it to the machine using AD credentials i get the following error - The specified network password is not correct

As stated by the documentation it has the possibility to work but is not the ideal scenario. I see you have already opened a support case for this issue. Please continue to work through this issue via the support case and let us know if you have further questions.

Were you able to resolve this issue? I am experiencing the exact same issue.

    From the documentation:

If your machine is not domain joined to an AD DS, you may still be able to leverage AD credentials for authentication if your machine has line of sight of the AD domain controller.

However, the documentation does not indicate how to do it.

Could you provide an example of how to do this. i.e. What would you enter in the username field when prompted for credentials?
