Hello,

I need to understand the difference between Full Access of mailbox under mailbox delegation & email forwarding. Do these features both offer same functionality?

For Example:

Employee is going to leave company in upcoming days and his manager wants access of emails. So what is the difference in functionality between granting full access permission on employee mailbox and setup email forwarding on emploee mail to his manager email address?

Can I use either of these mailbox features in the mentioned scenario?

When should I use to setup email forwarding and when should I use granting full access permission on mailbox if someone wants access of another user's emails?

Kindly answer and explain specific to above mentioned question and scenario.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

There's no similarity at all between those two features. One is basically allowing you to access all items currently stored in the mailbox, the other one will redirect (send a copy) of new messages to another location. In your scenario, you probably want to use both.
