Does the azure blockchain workbench use the Parity client?

    Azure Blockchain Workbench does use the Parity POA network as the underlying blockchain.

    You can create ABS or provide Ethereum POA endpoint when creating the deployment which will then be used as the blockchain network. For ethereum endpoint, you have to first deploy POA and then provide the endpoint for it
