Hello All:

I have a typical requirements where I have to replicate hundreds of SAP tables which is hosted in DB2 database to Azure cloud. Azure Data Factory is out of equation and SAP SLT is not an option and it has its own challenges from CDC perspective.

I don't think so there is any Azure Service that will help me to replicated SAP Tables from DB2 in near real time and to do analytics in the flight or on the fly streaming analytics.

The Big ASK is Near Real Time.

I am looking for proven alternate option to achieve same (near real time in Azure Cloud). Also I found that 3party tool are more intrusive and I am skeptical to use them due to security.

Any help, pointer, links suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanking in advance and thank you for your help & time.

    Hi @Sun Shine ,

Thank you for posting query in Micrsoft Q&A Platform.

Azure data factory has below connectors which works with SAP and DB2. Is those connectors are not feasible in your case? If yes, could you please share more details on why to understand your case better?

All above connector names are clickable links. Kindly check those links to know how to copy data from them.

Please Note, We can make use of custom activity in Azure data factory, If there is connector available for our source and want to write customized logic to run and execute for our task. The custom activity runs your customized code logic on an Azure Batch pool of virtual machines.
