Hi All,

I have the system which has 3k display and installed with Windows 10 Ent 1909 OS, I am seeing the the Custom scaling is set to 300% and the option to change the scaling is grayed out. I had to log out and login to change the scaling to 200% (Recommended). I would expect the Windows 10 OS should set the scaling by default as Recommended. So I would like to understand how the scaling is set in Windows 10 and what are the factors that can affect this scaling to set 300% which is not the recommended one.

Please share your thoughts. Thanks

    Hello,

I recommend you to upgrade the graphics driver and see if scaling is then set to Recommended level, by default.

    Regards.

    Hi,
I see some users will be set defaulted to 300%. It seems related to the super high resolution screens, which means Windows needs to “scale” the interface to make things readable. Also the video card also plays an important role. So keep driver update is important.
We could try to custom the scale setting in video card component and System settings.
